Storage tips to maximize shelf life
Our infused nuts will last much longer if refrigerated in an airtight container
Crisp nuts will absorb humidity from the air. Extended room-temp storage allows subtle flavors to dissipate and speeds up healthy oil degradation.
Refresh stale infused nuts
You can revive nuts left out too long by putting them in an oven or dehydrator set at around 150F until crispy again, about 2 hours.
If the lowest temperature on your oven is higher than 150F, set a timer to check at 10-minute intervals after 45 minutes.
Rancid nuts
Rancid nuts have an odd aroma like paint thinner and taste very bitter. Compost those!

Our translucent refill and bulk bags, with Nibble & Thrive 100% compostable labels and a green Compostable mark on the bottom, are certified for industrial composting and safe for home composting.

Please compost at home or with a municipal or private service that accepts industrially compostable materials. If composting is not available to you yet, you can throw compostable packaging in the trash where it will decompose faster than plastic would, and without microplastics.

Planning
Please plan to order 2-3 weeks before you need them. We currently open new pre-orders every 2-3 weeks and close 2 weeks before shipping begins. Shipping time depends on the method you choose at checkout.

Our thoughts about pricing and discounts
We prefer to price products based on the cost to deliver a single product to you, then offer automatic proportionate discounts as the cost of delivering multiple items in a single order goes down.
Reliable, relaxed savings aligns better with our values and serves as an alternative to "urgent" subscriber sales or time-limited discount codes. It also enables us to deliver fresher products based on demand to minimize waste and precisely account for the costs of operating a small commercial kitchen and online food business.
Our prices and associated discounts reflect these facts:
- It costs money to transport products to our customers, so we build shipping costs into product prices for transparency, then offer discounts to offset those costs in line with actual shipping costs.
- Each order takes a minimum amount of time to manage and fulfill, so various discounts on all orders above specific minimums ultimately shares our labor costs saved with our customers.
